Women’s Spirit of Cooperation
May 1st, 2007 by Adele Dubois
I’m grateful for the cooperative nature of women. As the countdown to the release date of my debut novel MOTORCYCLE HEAT begins, I’m reminded of the long list of women who have helped me on the road to publication. Despite being in the competitive business of publishing, other generous authors have been willing to extend a hand or offer a leg up each critical step of the way. From mentors and critique partners at the start of the manuscript, to the more established author friends who linked my website to theirs after my book sold, supportive women have surrounded me.
Authors of Erotic Romance are prime examples of women coming together in a spirit of cooperation to help promote each other’s work. Our group blog is the last stop in a long interactive chain before meeting you, our readers. You are the patrons of our artistic community, and we thank you. We hope you will read our books and we welcome hearing from you.

You’re totally right, Adele. No one writes a book alone and, as things in this business can change with the wind, having a support network you can count on is increasingly important.
