Christmas Lists
December 16th, 2009 by MecheleA
The holidays are upon us. One of the popular songs, they are playing is “Grownup Christmas List.” Definitely a lot of admirable things on the list. No more lives torn apart. That wars would never start. That everyone would have a friend. That right would always win.
My youngest came up with her list this year. My favorites were invisibility ray and invincibility ray. Oh, and a white Christmas. Probably not going to happen in Virginia this year. She also had PSP, DSI, and an Ipod touch. *shakeas head* Of course she laughed about a lot of it because she knows it’s not stuff she’s going to get.
My oldest had to write a letter to a holiday figure from the perspective of someone else. She chose Santa and wrote it from our dog Zoey. Was interesting to see what she thought should be on Zoey’s list. Bones. A house to hide from our two cats. Another dog to play with. More time with the masters home.
I’m not sure what I would have on my ultimate Christmas. Endless book shelves? More books? A self cleaning house (oh Santa, pleeeeeaseeee!)? a self scooping litter box? World peace would be nice. A simple non polluting fuel.
What would be on your ultimate Christmas list? Whatever you want, hope you get it. And hope your holidays are merry and bright!

my list would include: a used bookstore of my own, a wii with wii fit, more books, and more time to read.
My ultimate number one wish would be to have a book on the New York Times bestseller list. And, of course, an end to the hostilities in Afghanistan & Iraq, affordable health care for all, a cure for cancer, and all the books I could read.
I know it’s a cop-out, but I’d like a winning lottery ticket, please!
World Peace I know it is corny, but if I could only have one thing I would wish for people to let people live as they choose, to not hurt others because of differences either perceived or real. To accept each other.
Then of course all the other world wide things. No hunger and starvation, affordable and accessible health care for all, cure for cancer, etc, etc.
On the selfish side, unlimited access to all the books in the world for free. I will even take them in ebook form, since I no longer have room in my library downstairs.
Oh, and an end to cigarettes.
