Heat wave

We’re smack dab in the middle of a heat wave here in the Great White North, with temperatures in Toronto well over 100 degrees with the humidity. Since it’s hot out there, I thought we could steam things up in here, too. I’m just putting the finishing touches on a new historical romance novel and I’m looking for book recommendations, since I haven’t had time to take a break and read anything in far too long.

So, what’s the hottest book you’ve read lately? M/m, m/f — anything goes!

We’ve had a solid week of 100+ degree days and high humidity on the USA east coast. Makes me wish I had a swimming pool to read by.

I’m reading SEA WITCH by Virginia Kantra. It’s hot and extremely well-written. I already bought the second book in the trilogy because I like this book so much. Also read some smokin’ hot titles by Ellora’s Cave authors Debra Glass and Delilah Devlin. So many wonderful choices!

    Stay cool!

Hi Keira! The heat finally broke here in Washington State, thank the stars! It was miserable.

I hope I’m not too late to give a book recommendation as I’ve been touting this book high and low! I’ve been perusing Free Sex Expensive Therapy by Judith SagĂ©. It’s a work of erotica with a self help twist thrown in for good measure, all wrapped up in a little bit of humor and sex addiction. It chronicles a woman’s journey and personal transformation, and I’m finding it to be a dazzling, authentic read. Hope you get a chance to check it out, even if the weather has broken.

You know, I’ve been trying to think of some books I’ve read recently, and I realized with everything that’s been going on at home I haven’t really read a new book in weeks if not months.
Soooo, even though I dont have any recommendations for you, I say thank you, because this forced me to get a couple new books and start reading again. (Of course we wont mention the TBR stacks all over the house already)
