In the early/mid portions of 2006 ePublisher, Loose Id, signed a number of new authors – not just new to them, but new to the industry. A few of us started emailing one another trying to figure out just what we needed to know, without appearing like clueless idiots to the more experienced writers.
Soon individual emails became a little unwieldy, so we transferred to a yahoo group, and as other new to the industry writers were announced they were welcomed on board also. Then came a web ring, then a blog to promo our releases when they came due. Then good old me (Anne Douglas) went out on a bit of a limb and suggested a ‘real’ website. One where we could showcase our talents as wonderful new authors, and maybe share with other newbie writers who are more than likely as overwhelmed as we were some of the tricks of the trade.
Now many of us are multipublished (ie no longer just with Loose Id) with many titles under our belts. No longer quite the newbies we once were 
I hope our various articles give you some insight and that you find something interesting in our regular blog posts.

I found your website through a google search and I’m very impressed by it. I’ve taken the time to read through some of the stories on the Under the Influence page. Conspicuously absent from your site is any male presence. I assume this is done on purpose.
My own writing of erotic fiction has evolved from a hobby to something substancially more serious. Part of what brought me to your web site was a search for ways to get more exposure for my writing.
If your website is strictly for female writers I certainly respect that. However, if someone would be interested in reading something from my portfolio I would be grateful.

I am very impressed with your website. I, like many, am new to this and have finally written a few stories, which have been reviewed by friends and aquaintances.
The positive reviews have encouraged me to continue. Like others, I too, am looking for exposure and more feedback. How can I do this? Is this an available option here?
